Lidia & Edward // June, 2018 There are 2 ways how we can look at a wedding: 1. as photographers 2. as an engaged couple Our photographer hearts always feel inspired by the beautiful details and raw emotions but as a couple... it's still hard to decide what kind of wedding we want for ourselves. This was the first time when both parts felt the same vibe: this is our world! Lidia and Edward mastered the wedding planning genre :) They organised everything in less than 3 month - and they did a perfect job! They wanted to share their special day with their families and a handful of friends only, so they had a lovely, intimated day with a heartwarming civil ceremony at Bournemouth Town Hall. After all the official things, we jumped into our cars, ate our yummy vegan sandwiches (made by The Mad Cucumber team), and we went to The New Forest. Lidia and Edward chose an amazing spot there. They set up their all handmade(!) macrame there and took their vows for each other. It was the most beautiful secret we've ever witnessed - and we didn't even hear anything :) This made it more mysterious! We spent only a few hours together on that day - but it was a perfect day! It was a relaxed, carefree wedding with no drama (Lidia left the bouquet at the hotel before the ceremony, but her bridesmaid run back and saved her but that's it) :) They spent real, quality time together and their beloved ones, too. No unnecessary occurrence, no pressure to meet any expectation, just the pure connection, emotion and love. They carefully planned all the meaningful details and worked with amazing suppliers. You can find their list below. For us (as photographers and as an engaged couple) this was The Dream Wedding. We can't be grateful enough for White Chalet Studio for recommended us to them! This year is a bit different for us - in a really good way.
We've learnt a lot from the past few years - I mean not only about photography, but about ourselves! Our lifestyle is more pure - we've started practicing bikram yoga, to make a better connection with ourselves again, changed our attitude with the food and the objects around us. Everything is more simple, and more meaningful. We're still so far from where we want to be, but definately on our way now. We're trying to give back to the community from where we get the most, so we're thinking about a few different projects. The most important in our head at the moment is the upcoming styled shoot which is all about zero-waste and vegan weddings. Our goal is to inspire the couples and the industry as well to create breath-taking weddings, but in an eco-friendly, sustainable way. In the middle of the planning of the styled shoot, Lidia and Edward contacted us to capture their intimated boho-vegan wedding this summer. We're over the Moon! This is something, that really close to our mind and heart. So we jumped into the engagement session as soon as we could - and of course, it was a rainy day :) All of us were a bit unsure what to do, dig in, or postpone the shoot - but at the end, we are beyond grateful with the result :) Lidia, Edward - this is your month, enjoy every single moments of it :) Hugs, Szandra and Gabor |
