As wedding photographers, we work with people from all walks of life - this is one of the things that makes this job so exciting.
However when we have a chance to photograph fellow artists it is that much more of a challenge as it is added positive pressure. Ági as a flutist and Doma as a photographer clearly understand the creative process, which of course began by us meeting before the shoot. We instantly clicked and had long passionate conversations about art, photography, life and...well just about everything! When we asked what they were expecting from us on the wedding day, Doma came up with the most unexpected answer and said: "We couldn't care less if we only get 35 good photos, but would love you two to be around us. You make us genuinely calm and relaxed and that is what we truly want to feel on our wedding day" Needless to say we were so deeply touched and our hearts filled with an incredible amount of gratitude. Two days before the wedding we spent these joyful hours together which we both truly needed. The shoot was casual, relaxed and fun, just the way we like it. It was a good practice run before the wedding day. I know, you want to know how many photos have they got. Ok, I'll tell you: Maybe a little bit more than 35 - but stay tuned, the next blogpost will be about their wedding :) With Love, Szandra & Gabor

Oh My Goodness! I still can't believe what's happening! Only a few minutes left from 2018 and I've got the most mindblowing news.... from California! A few month ago I entered to the Voice competition (no, not the singing competition, it's a photography stuff :)) 48.000 images entered. One amazing collection. And one of my images is the winner of the Love and Connection cathegory!!!! www.clickinmoms.com/voice/ I am speechless, guys.... I took this picture of Ben & Fidi, who have the most inspiring love for me! Their honest bond, the deep connection, the honest love is everything for me. And what I see, what I feel is raw and real - and it seems, through their portrait everyone can feel the same. Thank you, Ben & Fidi for being genuinely gorgeous - I'm so grateful for you and for the chance to photograph the 2 of you!
I'll show you some more of their session in the New Year :) I can't wish anything better for 2019, Love and Connection. Ok, probably flight ticket to California, where all of the images in the 2018 VOICE Collection will be on display at Click Away 2019 being held February 8-10 :) I can't wait to capture more real, intimate, emotional stories with Gabor in 2019. Happy New Year, guys! Hugs, Szandra Lidia & Edward // June, 2018 There are 2 ways how we can look at a wedding: 1. as photographers 2. as an engaged couple Our photographer hearts always feel inspired by the beautiful details and raw emotions but as a couple... it's still hard to decide what kind of wedding we want for ourselves. This was the first time when both parts felt the same vibe: this is our world! Lidia and Edward mastered the wedding planning genre :) They organised everything in less than 3 month - and they did a perfect job! They wanted to share their special day with their families and a handful of friends only, so they had a lovely, intimated day with a heartwarming civil ceremony at Bournemouth Town Hall. After all the official things, we jumped into our cars, ate our yummy vegan sandwiches (made by The Mad Cucumber team), and we went to The New Forest. Lidia and Edward chose an amazing spot there. They set up their all handmade(!) macrame there and took their vows for each other. It was the most beautiful secret we've ever witnessed - and we didn't even hear anything :) This made it more mysterious! We spent only a few hours together on that day - but it was a perfect day! It was a relaxed, carefree wedding with no drama (Lidia left the bouquet at the hotel before the ceremony, but her bridesmaid run back and saved her but that's it) :) They spent real, quality time together and their beloved ones, too. No unnecessary occurrence, no pressure to meet any expectation, just the pure connection, emotion and love. They carefully planned all the meaningful details and worked with amazing suppliers. You can find their list below. For us (as photographers and as an engaged couple) this was The Dream Wedding. We can't be grateful enough for White Chalet Studio for recommended us to them! Lidia, Edward: We wish you as deep and joyful marriage as your wedding was! Wedding Suppliers Hotel: The Norfolk Royal Hotel, Bournemouth
Civil Ceremony: Bournemouth Town Hall, The Laurels Vegan Wedding Cake: The Mad Cucumber Rings: Lidia / Arcade Jewellers in Bournemouth & Edward / Tanya L. Krackowizer Barber: Bonds Barber MUA/Hair Dresser: Julia Symons (Jules) Bridal Dress: Indie Bride // Minna Hepburn Groomswear: Shirt and suspenders from Next, trousers from Massimo Dutti, shoes by Hudson Vegan Leather Boots: Free People website {just note that the sizes that they make you choose from are US sizes. So if you want a UK size 6 you need to get a 9 on the website!} This year is a bit different for us - in a really good way.
We've learnt a lot from the past few years - I mean not only about photography, but about ourselves! Our lifestyle is more pure - we've started practicing bikram yoga, to make a better connection with ourselves again, changed our attitude with the food and the objects around us. Everything is more simple, and more meaningful. We're still so far from where we want to be, but definately on our way now. We're trying to give back to the community from where we get the most, so we're thinking about a few different projects. The most important in our head at the moment is the upcoming styled shoot which is all about zero-waste and vegan weddings. Our goal is to inspire the couples and the industry as well to create breath-taking weddings, but in an eco-friendly, sustainable way. In the middle of the planning of the styled shoot, Lidia and Edward contacted us to capture their intimated boho-vegan wedding this summer. We're over the Moon! This is something, that really close to our mind and heart. So we jumped into the engagement session as soon as we could - and of course, it was a rainy day :) All of us were a bit unsure what to do, dig in, or postpone the shoot - but at the end, we are beyond grateful with the result :) Lidia, Edward - this is your month, enjoy every single moments of it :) Hugs, Szandra and Gabor Ok, guys - let's talk a little about the SNOW.
I mean the snow in the UK! 3 weeks ago a dream came true, when one of our best friends moved to our neighbourhood from an other town. Everything was well-organized - but the snow... Let's see the facts: - 2 families - 2 toddlers - 2 superhero mamas - 2 soulful papas - 15 minutes distance between the 2 flats by car Long story short, the 2 mamas put their toddlers to their backs, and went to the new flat to do some cleaning, etc. We had a yummy pizza at the end, and decided to come back to our home together to spend the evening together here. Toddlers to the back, went down to the street... and got shocked. Guys, the traffic stopped. I mean COMPLETELY stopped. All the cars and buses just stood on the route. Without any movement. And the snow didn't want to stop falling. Hm... what to do?! Well....we took an easy 3,5 hours long walk with our toddlers (mostly) on our backs in wind and snow, to get from the empty and cold flat to the warm one. After several miles and so many breakdowns - we've had enough of the snow and the wind and the cold, thank you :) A few days later the snow melted, and we tried to forget all the bad experiences with it. Finally a bit later, but the moving went well, and here we are for each other, yeeeeay!! The next topic was the East Dorset Wedding Show for us. We prepared ourselves for the first wedding fair, we were overexcited! Then the snow.... Those little, cute, beautifully white flakes.... they tangle everything! Okay, after a sleepless night the wedding show has been cancelled/posponed. So... what to do?! again... Let's see the fact: all the gorgeous wedding suppliers are available and ready to action... (vans are full with beautiful flowers and props, etc). It's clear! "Gaaaaabor!!! Let's do an amazing styled shoot today!!! " It must be a mindblowing telepathy, as Danielle posted the same idea on the social media. Yeaay, girl, you are a star!!! We've contacted Vikkie (Dreaming of Vintage) to come along with their amazing props, too. In less than an hour our tiny, but super powerful team met in the car park, and the rest is been captured :) We're over the moon with the result - so I hate to say, but LET IT SNOOOOW!!!! :) Thank you for the following amazing peeps: Models: Danielle Manton-Kelly & Stephen Manton-Kelly (The Wedding Crécherz - www.theweddingcrecherz.com) Venue: The Italian Villa (www.the-italian-villa.co.uk) Venue Styling: Dreaming of Vintage (www.dreamingofvintage.co.uk) Wooden Bow Tie: Patore' UK - Wooden Bow Ties (www.patorewoodenbowties.co.uk) Photography: Kiss in Light Photography :) If we can do anything for you, please feel free to contact us!
